Apartment with pool and garden in the village of Pailhès

This delightfully converted first floor apartment located in the quiet village of Pailhès in the centre of Languedoc and within easy reach of the Mediterranean is available all-year round. All rooms with electrical heating for use during the short winter period.

The apartment offers all the normal facilities including TV, video recorder, radio/CD player. Linen and towels are provided and there is an ironing board and iron. There is off-the-road parking in the driveway close to the Gite.

Belleville
The main house was owned for generations by the Belleville family (hence the name) who were wine producers. The large vats and press are still in the winery attached to it. The accommodation comprises two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with two singles, with en-suite bathrooms, comprising shower cabinet, bidet, WC and basin. Sitting room with put-u-up settee, basket weave suite and light/fan fitting.

Swimming Pool
The extensive gardens, shared with the resident English owners, include a fully tiled swimming pool (10m x 5m) in a paved area ideal for sun bathing, with flower border surround.

There is a large terrace with BBQ, lights and power points for eating outdoors on summer evenings.

 

 



   

 

 

Bellevilla is in Pailhès, a small village but there are shops in nearby Thézan (2km). The appartment is an ideal base for exploring all the riches of this beautiful region.

Pailhès is close to the region's second largest town of Beziers (11km) - Montpellier being the largest. Beziers has a flower market every Friday and has the biggest bullring in Europe.

 


 
   


From the AutoRoute at Beziers, the old walled city of Cacasonne is quickly reached, as is the aqueduct of the Pont du Gard, the amphitheatre at Nimes and the Spanish border. There are many attractions such as Le Train Jaune at Villefranche-de-Conflet with spectacular views.

 

There is also the chance to sample the many wines which Languedoc produces and has produced for many years., which are only now coming to the attention of the wine circles in England.
   

Cap d'Adge and the many beaches, bars and restaurants of this famous resort are not so far away. Photo below shows the marina at Cap d'Agde. With 14 km of golden sandy beaches, each offering something different, you're never tired of something to do. Windsurfing, banana boat rides, pedalos, para-gliding and all the normal seaside activities are available.

Helpful Information

Booking 'weeks' are Saturday 16.00 to Saturday 10.00. We ask that guests leave the accommodation before 10.00, and new guests arrive after 16.00. This allows time for our Cleaners to ensure a fresh start for new guests.

Wi-Fi internet connection in the apartment for those who cannot travel without their laptop

Payment is in euros. Euro Bank Drafts are quite straightforward and your UK bank will be pleased to help you to make the arrangements. A 10% deposit is required to secure your booking.

The villa will be cleaned immediately after your visit. It certainly helps when guests leave the villa in a clean and tidy condition.
