Our gîte, is a former cowshed attached to the end of the main building of this former farm dating from the 1800 s. Which we now run as a small family camping and caravan site in the south of the Deux Sevres in the heart of the Poitou Charentes region, La Coeur de la Charente .

The gîte has a spacious kitchen dining / living room area on ground floor. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin and bathroom on first floor.

Plenty to see and do in this beautiful sunny region to suit all ages and all tastes. Ideal for a quiet family holiday in our peaceful grounds or from our position in the Heart of the Poitou an ideal spot to explore the four departments of the Poitou Charentes as well as the Limousin and Aquitaine regions of south western France.

Plenty to see and do within an hours journey on the quiet roads of France where it is still, a real pleasure to drive. From the tourist resorts shown on this page to the quiet rural country Around us there is lots to for the whole family to enjoy. For the beach there are the wonderful beaches and resorts Of the western coast, or closer at hand there are several inland beaches like the Nautilus centre on the outskirts of Angouleme, which also has a Patinoire Ice rink.

Closer to us the Rejallant complex outside Ruffec for a pleasant day out by the river for the whole family.
