Only a 5 minute drive away from clean beaches, couple of minutes drive away from shop's.

- Living Area: In the lounge/ kitchen/ dining room:
There is a usable open fire place, and we can provide barrows of wood for 8 each. There is an English TV, coffee table and 2 comfortable arm chairs, and a dinning table with 6 chairs.
- Kitchen: There is a 4 ring gas cooker with oven, sink, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. ALL cutlery, pans and dishes are provided.
- Bedrooms: There are 2 separate bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: has 3 single beds, a clothes rail and a chest of draws
- Bedroom 2: has a double bed, 2 bedside stalls, a chest of draws, a clothes rail and a small window cupboard for your bag s/ shoes etc
- French style sit in bath/shower, WC, wash hand basin and bidet.

The island of Tatihou is a little island off the east coast of le manche just of Saint Vaast La Hogue. Its main theme is about how wooden boats where build a long time ago and in the day where things where build by hand not machine. They have a workshop which is sometimes open to the public to watch the carpenters at work. As you first walk into the grounds at Tatihou you will see a large wooden skeleton of a wooden boats ribs which is amazing because of its size.
There is a wonderful garden to walk though with all different flower s to view along with the scenic walk to the old tower which has been converted into a cafe where you can have something to eat while your waiting for the duck boat to return. This is a wonderful little island to visit if you like nature and the wonderful scenery.
Musee des Troupes Aeroportees. This is a museum in Saint Mere Eglise (photo below) and is dedicated to the 82nd and 101st American airborne troupes.

You will also see lots of photos and posters of a famous film that was filmed in saint mere Eglise which was about the D-Day landings called THE LONGEST DAY and the famous church opposite the museum display s model of what really happened there, a parachutist got tangled with the church on he's landing and was shot in his foot and he played dead till the soldiers left and he could untangle him self and gat down, there is also a section on this real man and the medals he got when the was over.
They have many memorabilia on show including many photos. Letters, medals, uniforms etc. They also have a Waco glider and a decotor airplane on show which is just amazing. |

Coutances: you will find a diving club, heated swimming pool, horse riding centre, park s and gardens. Their market day is: Thursdays 7am - 1pm. Cherbourg: there is a swimming pool, diving club, canoe-kayaking, sailing school, parks and gardens. Their market day is: Saturdays 7am 1pm

Portbail: you will find a horse riding centre, canoe-kayaking, sailing school and land yachting. Their market day is: Tuesdays 7am 1pm
Surfing areas: Siouville Hague and la Rozel. Zoo s and animal park s: Granville, Beauvoir, Milly and Montaigu la Brisette. And not forgetting: Le Mont Saint Michel - photo right. |

If you get the ferry to Cherbourg then the property is appox 1 hour's drive away, from Callia is approx 5-6 hours drive.

80 euros cash upon arrival is required for any breakages or damage. This is returnable on departure if everything is left in good order. (any breakages or damage must reported immediately.
Electric over 90 units per week will be charged for at the going rate on you departure in cash euros. (most family s find this more then enough units).

NO pets allowed and NO smoking inside the property.
Please bring adequate food provisions with you for the weekend as most shops close 6/7pm French time and there are no 48 hour shops here, A couple of shops are open Sunday mornings but only in the summertime only. (June - September)

To reserve this property for your holiday, please fill in the booking and insurance form along with your 25% deposit of the total cost.
