Judith's House - a lovely charming village house


Judith's House is a lovely charming village house located in a "circulade" of a medieval little village. The village is 20 min from Carcassonne.

It can sleep from 2 to 6 people and a baby. The house kept its original character with old beams and has a wonderful view from the roof terrace over the rolling fields of wines and sun flowers.

The house has 3 levels and 2 bath/shower rooms and toilettes. The kitchen on the ground floor is fully equipped. The living room invites for long cosy evenings. Come and fall in love with the lovely atmosphere of the house.

INTERIOR
  • Living Area: Comfortable sofas and an old fireplace make a cosy atmosphere
  • Kitchen: fully equipped kitchen with big open space and big round table. Refrigerator and Freezer.
  • Door opens to the ground level with access to outside
  • Bedrooms: 3 double bed rooms, each with a 140cm or 160cm bed lovingly decorated to fit the house
  • Bathrooms: 1 bath/shower room, 1 shower room, 2 toilettes

EXTERIOR
  • Roof terrace and deck chairs and table
    Outside equipment: BBQ and outside furniture
  • Parking: in front of the house in the so called "circulade"

 
 

 

 

 

 

 
 

 


The house is situated in a lovely little courtyard (the "circulade"). From the roof terrace you have a wonderful view to the rolling fields of wine and sunflowers:

 

 


The nearest supermarket is at 3 km in the next village. The nearest towns are Carcassonne with the famous "cité" (photo below left), Limoux, the origin of the blanquette - a sparkling wine and Castelnaudary, the home of the delicious duck speciality "Cassoulet" are within 20 min drive. Carcassonne airport is at 15 km. A golf course, tennis can be find in Carcassonne. Horse riding activities are in the neighbouring villages.



 
 

 

From Judith's House it's easy to explore the famous Cathar Castles. They are all at about an hour or two to drive and a must for every visitor.

The caves and canyons of the Aude has to be visited as well.

The Mediterranean sea and the beautiful cities of Narbonne and Gruissan are only an hour's drive away.

You can reach Judith's House easily by plane landing at Carcassonne airport and then it's a 15 min ride. Or come by train to Carcassonne train station. The nearest motorway exit is Bram at 9 km.
