Spring at Le Belvedere is truly breathtaking. The garden comes alive with colour and fragrance that lasts through summer.
Autumn offers up a spectacular display of olds, reds and browns, while winter transforms Le Belvedere into a beautiful snow covered hideaway (photo of the snow-covered terrace below right).

Whether you are visiting Lourdes (Lourdes cathedral below left), the Valley of Argeles-Gazost, Val d'Azun, Cauterets or in le Pays Toy we hope to give you a snippet of information so that when you will pass through to the sites and vistas you are prepared for the magical scenery and cultural experience to what may lie ahead. The Vallees des Gaves or Valley of Rivers offers an invitation to travel and experience nature at its most pristine where you can enjoy a great range of sport and leisure activities within the natural beauty and authenticity of the Haute Pyrenees!
This magnificent country is to be approached with respect. In summer the region offers over 1600 kms of walking trails as well as camping, fishing and climbing. In winter there is both cross country and alpine skiing at the busy resorts along the border, much livelier than their Spanish counterparts.

Southern France is rich with a colourful history that pre dates the Roman Empire . The countryside, towns and cities are built on the ancient remains of the Gauls. Numerous galleries and artisan studios are open throughout the year. The South of France has a great tradition in Fine Art.

Some of the world's most famous artists including Dali, Picasso, Braque, Van Gough, Gaugain, Matisse, Cezanne, Derain, Monet, Renoir, and others, have been inspired by the bright Mediterranean light and the vivid colours of Southern France.
There are many Cathar castles or "chateaux cathares" in Languedoc Roussillon, as well as the mysterious Rennes-le-Chateau (right) , all worth a visit. |
