Nestled in the heart of the famous Pruneaux D'Agenais' region (famous for orchards with plums - they even have a plum museum you can visit - poster right) we have Agen about 35 minutes away (photo below shows Cathédrale-Saint-Caprais d'Agen).

Villeneuve-sur-Lot about 30 minutes away is a good place to visit (photo below right shows the bridge over the river Lot at Villeneuve-sur-Lot).
