BBQ and furniture for al fresco dining and situated just off the
main square of the village of Olonzac.
The house is furnished in a traditional French style and with all
the mod cons to make your stay feel like home from home.
Accommodation for up to 6 people in large airy rooms. A perfect
location for every type of holiday, whether it is for relaxing,
hiking, cycling, sightseeing, exploring historical sights, or attractions
to visit which will make the children happy.

but who does much cooking on holiday, there is everything
you need, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven and hob and
of course all cooking and eating utensils. Of course there
is a washing machine

- All bedrooms have large wardrobes and
plenty of storage space

Not many village houses have a garden, only terraces, so
we have the luxury of being able to walk outside and sit
and relax in our south facing garden.
It is shingle with some plants if you remember to water
them. We also have a conservatory that is very warm.

|
Olonzac is a large village with the patisserie
just at the end of the road. There are some excellent restaurants,
even a big supermarket. 5 min. drive is the Canal du Midi
where you can have boat trips, the lake for water sports
and relaxing is only 5 min drive. Carcassonne
only 30 min to see the medieval cite, or golf.
Olonzac is so central that you have the beach one direction
and the mountains the other. Olonzac has a great market
on Tuesday, selling absolutely everything (photo below of
one of the cheese stalls) and is just nice to walk around
and smell and eat all the goodies on offer.

We are located ideally that it can cater for old and young alike
with so much to see and do - or just relax and do nothing.
There are caves, mountains, beaches (the beach at Collioure
is shown right), safari, golf, shopping, and of course
wine is in abundance with the cellars for tasting, the whole
area is steeped in history.
I have a large information book at the house that tells you
all about the area.

about 40 min from the airport. Or Perpignan about 1 hour.

By road it is about 800 miles from the ferry ports straight
down on the motorway.
