Pretty bed and breakfast with outstanding mountain views


Saint-Beat is a lovely traditional French village, only 7km from the border of Spain in the heart of the Pyrenees mountains. Our chalet is 1km from the village in a lovely sunny area with views of the mountains including the famous Pic du Gar.

Ideally positioned for skiers, cyclists, mountain bikers, motor bikers, walkers and people who enjoy the countryside and outdoor activities.

We have a lovely large garden with two drives offering ample secure parking for our guests.

  • Large lounge, dining room with lovely comfortable sofas, log burning fire and tea/coffee facilities available for guests at any time
  • The kitchen is not available for guest use. However guests with babies have access to a microwave
  • Bedroom: Aspin - double bedroom with en-suite shower room and additional single bed
  • Bedroom: Mente - Double bed with en-suite shower room
  • Bedroom: Peyresourde - Twin beds sharing shower room and separate toilet in the hall with Tourmalet
  • Bedroom: Tourmalet - Twin beds, sharing shower room and separate toilet in hallway with Peyresourde
  • Bedroom: Bales - Ground floor double room, ideal for guests with restricted mobility, sharing brand new lovely large shower room with Portillon
  • Bedroom: Portillon - Ground floor twin room, ideal for guests with more limited mobility sharing lovely new shower room with Bales
  • 4 shower rooms (two en-suite), 5 WCs (2 en-suite)

Lovely walks, cycle routes and countryside to explore just outside the door or simply relax in our garden with a good book and glass of wine or beer.




 



 

 

Guests can explore local villages (Saint-Beat is shown below) in both France and Spain on the Val D'Aran. Lots of historic roman sites, outdoor activities. The Garonne river is ideal for fishing and only a 5 minute walk from the chalet. Skiers have a choice of 4 resorts (one in Spain).

Other activities include golf, tennis, swimming, fishing, parascending, horse-riding, rafting and many more


 



 

 


Many guests like to visit Lannemazan marked on Wednesday morning, approximately 40 minutes away and to take advantage of the proximity to Spain with cheaper goods and petrol. There are lots of small villages and interesting sites to see in the area. Let us know what you are interested in and we can advise.

Prices

We ask guests to forward a 25% deposit on booking, the balance to be paid at the end of the holiday.

We offer a 4 course evening meal with wine for 18 euros per person.
