Located at the heart of the historic village of Brossac, The Pool
House is situated within the walled grounds of our own nineteenth
century house.

own poolside patio, and freedom to enjoy our beautifully planted
gardens, your relaxation is assured!
We very much look forward to welcoming you to share in our village
life!

countryside? Well, for a start; imagine popping out for fresh
croissants while the kettle is boiling, or even stepping out
for that forgotten bottle of wine! And no need to worry about
drinking a few glasses of wine with your restaurant meal! Join
us and experience real life in France!

As already mentioned, the ancient walled city of Angouleme,
and Bordeaux, are both well worth a visit. Angouleme,
with its annual events such as the Comic Festival, and an
autumn Motor Cavalcade around the city ramparts. Bordeaux
with its vibrant mix of old and new. Cognac will be a town
familiar to most, being the centre of the "cognac trail",
with many distilleries waiting to welcome you on their tours!
About an hours drive away will take you to the stunning
Gironde estuary, with beautiful sandy swimming beaches a
little further north. Then there's La Rochelle,
(below left) with its offshore islands, Futuroscope
(below right), Poitiers, the "Valley
of the Apes"...
