Your holiday home resides in this dignified, recently fully renovated mansion on the outskirts of the village Saint Saud Lacoussiere situated in the northern part of the Dordogne.

The mansion is surrounded by meadows and forest and next to the mansion you'll find a lake called ''le Grand Etang''.

Here you can enjoy a nice swim - supervised by a lifeguard during summer. In the fishing corner of the lake you can try to catch some trout.

  • There are 6 bedrooms in the apartment. The dimension of all beds 90x200
  • In this apartment on each floor there is a bathroom and a toilet

  • The mansion is surrounded with a beautiful garden and lawns were you can enjoy the sun or the shade
  • Under a large cover (16x16) there is a bar, a TV room for the children, garden furniture and two large barbecues
  • In the garden you’ll find all the garden furniture you will need
  • There is a Swimming pool (7x14)
  • For the young there is a Paddling pool (5x5)
  • Private parking for 10 cars near the mansion

The mansion is surrounded by meadows and forest next to the mansion you'll find a lake called ''le Grand Etang''. In the grounds of the mansion there is a swimming pool, plus a paddling pool. There is also a large covered area for barbecues and eating outdoors.



 


 




 

 
During the high season the 'Brasseire Le Grand Etang' on the shore of the lake is open. Here anyone can come to enjoy an evening, with a super meal and dancing.

In the village Saint Saud you'll find all the necessities like a post office, a drugstore, a bakery, a butcher, a very small supermarket
a hairdresser, several restaurants and a municipal tennis court where you can pay to play.

In Nontron you can find the nearest major supermarkets.



 


 

 


From ''Le Grand Etang'' you can plan day trips to Brantome, the caves of Villars, Château Puyguilheim (photo below left) the picturesque village of St Jean de Cole or visit one of the many weekly markets in the nearest villages. For those who like hiking there are well marked routes through the forest you can follow close by. The capital of the Dordogne, Perigueux (photo below right) is a real must for you to visit. With the old town centre, ancient buildings, terraces, restaurants and endless shopping.
