Large comfortable four bedroom gite close to Dordogne river


Situated in a small hamlet, fifteen minutes drive from the historic town of Gourdon, this large comfortable gite is suitable for groups or families and offers accommodation for up to nine people.

The spacious garden backs on to open countryside and is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Local attractions include historic sites and caves as well as walking, cycling, canoeing and other outdoor activities.

Close to the historic towns of Gourdon (photo below left), Soulliac and Sarlat and 10 minutes drive from the Dordogne river (below right). There are plenty of walking and cycling trails in the area and a variety of outdoor activities including canoeing, horseriding and paintballing. The area offers wine tasting, and is famous for its fois gras. Don't forget to visit the Chateau du Fenelon, a short drive away.



 




 

 


Nearby is the famous town of Rocamadour (photo below left) as well as Beynac and Domme. Historic caves including the giant Gouffre de Padirac (below right) are also not far away.
