This 300 year old property has been restored back to its original state and boasts 6 bedrooms with en-suite facilities.

It stands in a small hamlet of 10 houses surrounded with wooded countryside and rolling meadows and seems a world away from civilisation.

Set in tranquil ancient woodland the house is ideal for the relaxing weekend break or whole family house take over.

This wonderful house is east facing so has the sun all day, over looking rolling meadows and beautiful woodland. It is an ideal place for animal and insect spotting, bird watching, painting, walking and cycling.

It is a very tranquil area that is wonderful for relaxing with a bottle of wine and chilling out from the daily stresses and strains of modern living. When it's baking outside the house remains cool so why not siesta while listening to your favourite music with the many available CDs or read a book from the library.

Riberac is just 14kms away. This bustling market town (photo below left) boasts one of the biggest authentic Friday markets in the area and is must to go and see. Périgueux is 25 kms. A Roman city full of churches, cafes and squares crammed full of restaurants and quaint little shops. It has a beautiful cathedral - Cathedrale Saint Front is shown below right,and also a golf course which is reputed to be the 3rd best in France.

Tocane St. Apre is our nearest village that has a costume museum, cave for tasting the local wines and restaurants. The camping site is great for the children with its table tennis areas, tennis courts, football stade and small river beach ideal for swimming and canoeing.

There is so much to do - canoeing, horse-riding, rock climbing, and cycling. Sarlat (photo of main square below left) and Domme overlook the river Dordogne and there are prehistoric caves - including the world-famous caves of Lascaux, with their prehistoric cave paintings – see image below, gardens and 1000's Chateaux to visit. There are also Grottes and aquariums or just relax in a restaurant and watch the world go by.

By Air: There are 3 airports that are between 1 and 2 hours drive away. Bergerac our nearest, Limoges and Bordeaux.	By Rail: Angouleme has the TGV train station that runs from Waterloo, London changing at Lille.	By Road:
Routes: Take D710 out of Riberac towards Tocane St. Apre and Brantome. In the middle of St. Meard de Dronne take a right hand turn onto the D104 signed Segonzac. At Segonzac Stade take a left and bear left again at the T junction onto the D109. Palus is the 2nd on the left. The entrance of Le Manoir is signed in the heart of Palus.

Information
Weekly lets include all bed linen and towels. A welcome pack with bread, cheese, milk etc. A meal can be supplied upon prior arrangement. B&B includes continental breakfast and an English style breakfast is available.	A breakages deposit is requested on arrival and returned on departure.
