Converted barn with private heated pool in the heart of Poitou Charente


Our recently converted 19th centuary barn is set on our organic smallholding and offers spacious accommodation over two floors.

It has been designed by an architect to provide flexible accommodation suitable for families or friends and has retained many of its original features including exposed stone walls and oak beams.

We are located in a small hamlet close to the tranquil town of Lezay which offers a large weekly market, good restaurants, supermarket, large outdoor swimming pool, park with play area and fishing lake.

We have various games including a full size table tennis, badminton rackets and net and boules. We have a selection of bikes for hire to explore the quiet country lanes.

 


 

 

 

 
 

 


Why not visit the Silver mines in Melle 20mins away and take in the Romanesque churches around Melle. The Abbey at Celles-sur-Belle (below left) is great for a picnic 30mins away. The monkey sanctuary at Couhe (below right) is great fun for children of all ages 30mins away. Horse riding is available nearby and fishing (permit required).



 

 

 
 

 


The Atlantic coast and its popular resorts of La Rochelle (below left) and Ille de Rai are just over an hours drive away. Cognac is again just over an hour away. The Lambon lake within an hours drive has bathing facilities and a great play area for the children. Poitiers 45mins is great for shopping and Futuroscope (below right) is just a little further on. A welcome pack is included with bread, milk, cheese and seasonal fruit and veg from our garden and a bottle of wine.

Cot and high chair available.

Prices

A deposit of £100 will confirm your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival or full payment for any bookings taken within 8 weeks of arrival.

A refundable deposit against breakages of 150 euros is payable on arrival and will be refunded on the day of departure.

The price includes towels and bed linen.
