The area where the cottage is located is traditional Normandy
and extremely rural, quiet and peaceful. It's a safe environment
for children, and the lane, which passes the cottage, serves
only five other houses.
Because the terrain is gently rolling and the lanes quiet,
cycling and walking from the cottage are popular too.
However modern swimming pools, sandy beaches, ice skating,
and canoeing are all a short drive away; and of course,
being in France, there are good restaurants and local markets
abound and you'll find lots of recommendations in the fact
sheet we provide when you rent the cottage.
