INTERIOR

The lounge has two bed-settees, an armchair and unit with several books, DVDs and videos. It is fully carpeted.

Kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafeterie etc. There is a dining table with 6 chairs. The floor has a lino covering.

Double bedroom with double bed and hand basin.

Bedroom with two single beds and hand basin.

Separate toilet and a shower room.

Television with English television programmes, a DVD and video player.

Central heating but it’s not necessary except perhaps Nov – Jan.

EXTERIOR

Outside there are miles of tracks for walking, cycling or riding.

You are welcome to share the balcony with us and the barbecue.

There is the River Cerou where you can fish. There are horses in the fields so you cannot enter the fields without first informing the owner.

The property is set in beautiful countryside ideal for walking or cycling; horse riding available near-by.

You can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside, watching the wildlife including many species of birds.

The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are very many pretty villages to see. In the summer months there is a fête in at least one village every week. In Monestiès there is the music festival in July and the horse fête in September. There are markets in most towns, a large one every Sunday in St. Etienne, which is about an hour drive away.

Within easy reach of the medieval town of Cordes and Albi with it beautiful cathedral and the Toulouse le Trec museum. . There is a beach where you can swim only 5km away. There is also the Cap de Couvert, an activity centre, plus there are a couple of golf courses in Albi.

The Rugby World Cup is this year and we are within easy reach of Albi and Toulouse where some of the games are being played.

By Air:
The nearest airports are Rodez or Toulouse.
Ryanair fly to Rodez and Easy Jet and Flybe to Toulouse. You can also fly to Carcassonne but it is quite a long drive to here.

By Road:
We are within easy reach of Albi and Toulouse. We are situated between the village of Monesties and the town of Cordes on the D91 road.

Information
Dogs are welcome as long as they are well behaved. If required we could accommodate a visitor horse with prior arrangement.	We allow smoking downstairs only.
