La Roseraie is children friendly - a safe environment with plenty of garden area for children to run and play, chickens and ducks (help collect eggs in the morning), and an excellent fenced swimming pool (parental supervision obligatory). And, our location is perfect to tour the Vienne area; the Valley of the Monkeys is just 400 metres away and is a wonderful visitor attraction with over 350 primates (Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Lemurs and many other species) at freedom in the area of the park. Futuroscope is just 50 mins away.

The house is set in two and a half acres of mature gardens with a variety of trees, an orchard, rose and herb gardens and with flowers in abundance around the lawn areas. Fences and trees secure the boundaries with views of open farmlands and the quiet hamlet of Chez Sicault.
