Bathroom (large shower cabin and wash basin). Separate WC. The living room has two small balconies overlooking the harbour, with a bird’s eye view of village festivities (jousting on feast days, crafts’ fair every Thursday evening, the “ox” procession etc.).

One large room which may be used as a lounge or as a double bedroom comprising two double sofa beds.

Its main attraction is a big terrace overlooking the harbour, the Bassin de Thau and lovely sunset (also a smaller back terrace). Outdoor dining table, chairs and sun beds available.

In and around Mèze :
Yacht club & sailing school at walking distance from the harbour (possibility of boat or windsurf rental, initiation into kite surfing etc), with cinema and tennis courts near the premises.

Horse-riding and swimming pool facilities a few kilometres from Mèze.

The largest Museum-Park in Europe devoted to dinosaurs in the middle of an outstanding paleontological site a few kilometres outside of Mèze. Weekly crafts fair every Thursday evening on the harbour and traditional market twice a week. Jousting competitions in Mèze and Sète (photo below), festivals & fiestas in surrounding villages throughout the summer season.

The Hérault region is a perfect destination for tourism. Further inland, the beautiful town of Pézenas, the medieval villages of St Guilhem Le Désert and Olargues (photos below) considered to be amongst the most beautiful villages of France are definitely worth the visit, while the Gorges de l'Hérault offer a great opportunity for a day's excursion near the river (canoeing, picnic etc.). Montpellier, its historical centre and interesting nightlife, Sète and its canals, Béziers and its Féria.

The region also abounds in vineyards and local wine cooperatives.
