This renovated Granary sits on the
banks of the river Thouet and enjoys fantastic views of the weir,
the river and the rural village of Louin.
The Mill Cottage was a former Granary which supplied grain some
125 years ago to the Mill. The old Mill Cottage has been sympathetically
restored retaining many of its original features such as original
fireplaces, beams, stonework, flagstones, and an old charcoal oven.
It is without doubt, the premier location within the village of
Louin. The old Mill building is approximately 35yrds away from the
Mill Cottage. The original walls of the old Mill are still standing
and although the Mill no longer operates, it still has its own functioning
sluice gate and mill pool.
There is a large above ground inflatable pool available for use
by guests.
Riverside Holiday Gîte sleeps 4. Bed & Breakfast
also available on short duration.
