situated on the ground floor of a very large stone farmhouse, surrounded
by 18 acres of gardens with a wood, orchard, swimming pool, volley
ball net and swing ball, the gardens around the property are to
lawns with flower beds.
All the gîtes have their own private patio with a Bar-B-Q,
table and chairs.
The property is situated in the village of Auros which is 10k from
the market town of Langon and just 30 mins from Bordeaux, and just
500m from the village shops, a restaurant and two bars.

Gîte 1 has 3 large bedrooms two bathrooms
and sleeps 8 + baby
Attractive fitted kitchen with eyelevel cooker and hob,
m/wave dishwasher f/freezer and washing machine separate
dining room and lounge with soft furnishings English digital
satellite TV / DVD.
The master bedroom is 5m x 4.60m and has a queen size and
a single bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and a chest of
drawers.
The second bedroom is 4.40 m x 3.80 m and has a double and
a singe bed; a built in wardrobe, bedside cabinet and a
chest of drawers, there is a French window which leads out
to a small private patio with a table and two chairs.
The third bedroom is 4.40 m x 3.60 m has two single beds
a bedside cabinet, built in wardrobe with a writing desk.
Bathroom 1 has a bath with shower attachment twin washbasins
and bidet; there is a separate WC. Bathroom 2 has a shower
cubical, washbasin and W C.

This gîte has a lounge
kitchen dinner; the kitchen has an oven and ceramic hob, microwave,
fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
In the lounge area there are easy chairs and a settee, English
satellite TV/video and a coffee table.The dinning are has
a table and four chairs.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobe
with shelves and a writing desk, there is a French door leading
to the covered private patio with Bar-B-Q table and chairs.
The en-suite bathroom has a shower cubical washbasin and WC.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds and a built in wardrobe, a French
door leading out to the patio, the on suit bathroom has a
bath with shower attachment, washbasin with cupboards underneath
and WC.

double bedroom and Sleeps 2 + baby
This gîte also has a lounge kitchen dinner, the kitchen
area having an oven with 4-ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer
and washing machine.

The lounge area has a two-person
settee English satellite TV/video, the dining space has a table
and two chairs, and a half glazed door leads to a private patio
with Bar-B-Q table and chairs.
The bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets and fitted wardrobes
with two bottom drawers; there is a full size bathroom with
a bath/shower fitment washbasin and WC. |

The gîtes are completely self contained and surrounded

and has a safety alarm, and is open all summer. Also, volley
ball net and swing ball.

There are numerous activities close by for example an 18
hole golf course just 5k away, lake and river fishing at
7k, two tennis courts in the village (one of which is floodlit)
and in the next village a horse riding school.
The property is situated in the village of Auros which is
10k from the market town of Langon and just 30 mins from
Bordeaux, and just 500m from the village shops, a restaurant
and two bars (photo of local restaurant and Langon market
shown below).
In the medieval town of Bazas there is a purpose built
cycle track through the forest, which if you have the stamina
could take you all the way to the coast, but on route there
are several picnic areas and a lake with a sandy beach where
you can swim.
For those interested in history and fine wines there are
numerous medieval villages such as St Emilion, and many
prestigious chateaux where Bordeaux wines can be tasted,
and of course the capital of Aquitaine Bordeaux itself is
only half an hour away by car or why not take the train
from Langon which connects directly with the new tramway
system in the centre of Bordeaux.
The Atlantic coast with its long sandy beaches is just
over an hour away as is the resort of Arcachon with its
water parks and many fish restaurants.

Bordeaux airport 40 mins - Bergerac 1 hour -
Toulouse 1hour 30 mins.
Ryanair - Flybe – Easyjet
as well as the major airlines fly into these airports from the UK
and most offer good deals on car hire when booking on line.
Travel By Ferry
St Malo is the nearest with Brittany Ferries 316 miles.

The
gîtes are rented on a weekly basis changeover day being
Monday therefore avoiding the peek weekend rates on flights
and ferry crossings, also missing the heavy Saturday traffic.
We offer a final cleaning service; baby-sitting service and
can serve you a meal on arrival (4 courses including wine)
at extra costs.

Prices
include all utilities, bed linen including the cots.
All prices are per week Monday 16.00 to the
following Monday 10.00. Sorry no pets allowed.
All bed linen is provided with two English
size pillows per person, but not towels.
