A new villa, with pool, ideally situated
in the village of Nissan-les-Ensérune, a typical south of
France village close to the Mediterranean beaches. The villa is
close to the centre of the village, but in a quiet residential area,
set back from the main road. With 3 bedrooms, the villa sleeps six,
and has ample living space with a large lounge, dining area and
fully fitted kitchen.
The villa and area have everything to make this a particularly enjoyable
holiday. You can take time out and simply rest and lounge on the
terrace around the pool, or more actively, visit some of the extremely
interesting places in the area.

| There
is a large ‘espace de vie’, a
light and airy living space which comprises a combined lounge,
living room and dining area, with an open-plan kitchen with
breakfast bar. The whole open-plan area is painted in pleasant
Mediterranean and Provencal pastel yellows.
The lounge area, which
has patio windows opening onto the terrace, has 2 rattan sofas,
lounger chairs, a television and a stereo system. See photo
below left.
Next to the lounge is a comfortable and spacious dining
area, with table and chairs. Then a breakfast bar,
with bar stools, which opens onto the kitchen.

The kitchen is fully fitted and furnished.
Equipment includes electric cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher and all other normal kitchen utensils.
There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.

There are 3 double
bedrooms, each with a double bed. One of the bedrooms
has an en-suite shower and hand basin, and one is equipped
with television.
There is a large bathroom, with bath and shower, a separate
WC with hand basin.

The villa has a large garden, which is well stocked with shrubs
and mature trees, offering plenty of shade when needed, with a terrace
and pool. The terrace has table and chairs for meals ‘al fresco’
in the warm sunshine. To help, there is a built-in gas barbecue.
On the terrace and around the pool, which is 9m
x 4.5m, are a number of sun loungers.
There is a well stocked ornamental fish pond
under the shade of the pine trees. |

Nissan-les-Ensérune is typically south of France and
Mediterranean (photos below). The village has all then normal
amenities, restaurants, bars, shops, banks, post office and
pharmacy. The village is close to the remains of a roman settlement
which overlooks the Oppidum, a unique landscaped feature which
each year attracts many visitors.

The Mediterranean beaches are close, with several
popular beaches within a 15 minute drive.
The nearest large towns are Béziers (10km), with plenty of
shops and restaurants to enjoy. The photo right shows people enjoying
the sunshine at one of the many cafés on the Allées
Paul Riquét.
The town of Narbonne is just 15 km and has a wonderful market place.

The medieval city of Carcassonne (photo right)
is close enough and well worth a visit.
Golf, sailing, wild water rafting and riding are a few of the
nearby activities available.
This is also a region of many classic French wines so a perfect
way to enjoy a relaxing holiday in France. |

By Road
Normal travel is from the channel ports using either the
A7 and then the A9, or stright thro' the middle of France using
the A71 and the new A75 and the Millau bridge
By Air
Ryanair flights from Standsted to Perpignan or Carcassonne for a
quick break or a long holiday.
Flights are extremely cheap when booked in advance.

| The villa is
available during the summer months of June through September
|
Guests must leave
the villa in a clean and tidy condition - basically, clean
floors, clean cutlery and tableware and empty waste bins.
There is a charge of 30 € if the villa is not left in
this clean and tidy condition.

|
|
| All prices are
per week, Saturday 16.00 to Saturday 10.00. The villa must
be vacated at this time to allow cleaning for the next visitors.
20% deposit required on booking, final payment due 4 weeks
before arrival.
Refundable damage deposit of 600 €. |
