The Bellerive Hotel, Restaurant &
Bar is a friendly welcoming hotel for all the family in a fantastic
location in the very heart of French Limousin.
Located approx 40 mins. from Limoges airport and 5 mins. from Lake
Vassiviere in the picturesque town of Peyrat Le Chateau. Peyrat
itself is well equipped for the visitor with all the usual shops,
bars, cyber cafe, post office (with cash point etc.).
Situated between the towns of Eymoutiers & Bourganeuf it offers
you the best in relaxation and cultural interest.

All hotel rooms are en-suite, with tea
& coffee making facilities. Most now have a television and all
are facing the local lake (see photo right). Some have their own
sun terrace!
We are able to provide a mixture of accommodation, from single rooms,
double rooms, twin or a family suite (2 rooms, a double & twin
for 4 people).

The hotel offers everything to ensure you have a memorable
holiday. After a day exploring the various attractions in
the area the evening can be spent in the family friendly
bar, or sat enjoying a meal, either inside or outside on
the terrace. As evening draws in, the hotel takes on a cosy
welcoming glow for tourists and locals alike.

"Our family re-opened Le Bellerive in 2004 after moving
from England. The hotel is advertised the tourist information
offices locally in France and we are also in the process
of joining the French tourism organisation. We have had
the pleasure of welcoming guests from all over Europe i.e.
England, Holland, France, Italy etc and all have left with
happy response!"

The local lake across the road (which can be seen from your
hotel window) is regularly re-stocked. Carp, Pike, Trout,
are regularly caught.
In addition to this lake there is the main lake of Vasssiviere
(approx 6k away). This can be fished throughout the year.
All permits can be supplied on request (one of our friends
is the president of the fishing association for the area).
We can also supply you with all the equipment, from rod's,
poles, line, detectors etc. You need to book in advance.

| Golf courses.
There are a number of 9 & 18 hole courses in the area

lessons at Limoges with an English instructor at
prices much cheaper than that in the UK |
| Cycling. This
area is brilliant for all forms of cycling on road & off. |
| Le Parc du
Reynou. Take the children to visit the safari park. |
| Parc D'Arbre
En Arbre, a set of fantastic tree-top assault courses
for children and adults alike, on the edge of the stunning Lake
Vassiviere. |
| Parc Bellevue,
an adventure style amusement park with water slides as well
as other rides, go-karting and a petting zoo. |
| Le Splash
d’Argentat is a large water park with slides,
pools etc. They also offer kayak lessons and have good picnic
facilities. |

| Futuroscope
(photo right) is an amazing park filled with exhibits celebrating
science and technology. There is plenty to see and do and
really aims for fun and education. This is situated near Poitiers
(about 110 mins.)
Vulcania celebrates volcanoes and offers
exhibits like “Journey to the centre of the Earth!”
This is situated in the Auvergne (about 90 mins.) |

By Air
Ryanair flights from Standsted to Limoges are a perfect way to travel,
for a quick break or a long holiday. Flights are extremely cheap
when booked in advance.
Limoges airport is a small, very friendly airport with all the usual
car renting facilities. If needed we can meet you there and / or
arrange the car for you, or just guide you back to the hotel to
cut down on the hassle!

| We do allow pets
at the hotel (we have a fox-terrier ourselves) but they must
be house trained and any cleaning damage must be paid for.

in most rooms.
Internet access is available using our w-fi broadband ADSL
connection, either via your lap-top or on the PC available
in the reception/lounge
