Self-catering apartment in northern gorges of Dordogne in Correze

Looking for a nice restful holiday in central France? Try this self-catering apartment in northern gorges of Dordogne in Corrèze.

Set in a beautiful and peaceful location the apartment is set in a newly converted upper story of the owners own 350 year old property. Although it is upper level of the house you are on the ground level.

If you don't want self-catering then meals can be provided breakfast, lunch and dinner – plus picnic meals.

Accommodation comprises a small kitchen, double bed/sitting room and an en suite shower/toilet.

The apartment is totally self-contained with independent access. We also have a cot
and bed settee available.

Sleeps 2 and 2 children.



 
There is ample off-road car parking, a very large sheltered garden and wood– where, if you are lucky enough, you may see deer, wild boar and hedgehogs See photo below).

There are also many different birds to watch, including the red kite.

The use of our swimming pool is available by arrangement plus the portable gas barbecue. If you don’t want self-catering then meals can be provided – plus picnic meals.

 



 





 
   

This is the undiscovered hidden part of France. In forested area on route to Transcorrezien. There is plenty to do and see - walking and cycling trails, and a vast selection of wild life plants and bird life. Nearby Lake Neuvic has coarse and fresh water fishing, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, pedalo and jet skis hire.


   
   

There is also a sailing and wind surfing school. In the nearby village there is an equestrian and trekking school. Further afield, there is a mountain bike course 3km. This is really beautiful countryside. Puy de Sauncy skiing within one hour (photos below) close to Tulle and Brive.

Limoges airport is about an hour north west and has direct flights to London Stansted, Liverpool and Southampton via Ryan Air.

Our location is on D168 between Saint Etienne la Geneste and Ste Marie Lapanouze next to 7km post

All bed linen and towels (except pool towels) are provided

We ask guests to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition by 10am
