Country Chambre d'hôtes in the Aveyron, Midi-Pyrenees


Les Touats is a pretty Aveyron style house; it has lovely views and is surrounded by fields with a small lake alongside.

It is centrally heated and has 3 letting bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds, there is a bathroom with shower toilet and basin.

Guests have their own lounge equipped with table - chairs - settee plus facilities to heat food and drinks, there is a fridge - microwave - toaster and electric kettle - we supply FREE tea and coffee.

 
   


There is a terrace with plenty of seating and a BBQ, for guests to use is in the garden.
Continental breakfast is served in the large lounge downstairs.


 
   


Les Touats is located just 15 minutes from the lovely Bastide town of VILLEFRANCHE - de - ROUERGUE, with its famous Thursday market by the Aveyron river. ALBI, with the famous Toulouse - Lautrec museum is approx. 1 hours drive.

The lovely Des Plus Beax Villages de France of NAJAC...BELLCASTLE...SAUVETERRE - de - ROUERGUE are all an easy drive, CONQUES and SAINT - CIRQ - LAPOPIE are a little bit further,


   


T here are many more lovely villages in the area, most have wonderful summer fetes where you can join in and have a taste of the locally produced foods.

Other places worth a visit are; the Aveyron and the Tarn Gorges....the Aveyron River the Lot River and the Tarn River.....There are many Chateaus.

The local Tourist Office has masses of information on activities such as Walks. Riding...Canoeing and lots more interesting things.

RODEZ, with the airport served by Ryanair flying in from Stansted is 45 minutes away.

TOULOUSE airport is approx. 2 hours from Les Touats.

Helpful Information

We allow medium sized motor caravans containing 2 people to stay in the garden while their friends or relatives stay in the house, that way if they want to holiday together in this lovely area the friends/relatives can simply fly to Rodez (45 minutes away) and they do not have to travel through France in the motor caravan.

If you are a prospective house buyer, we have bought 2 French houses now and are willing to give helpful advice.

We do not take pets.

Smoking is not allowed in the house but the terrace is O.K.

Young children would be bored as we have no facilities for them, so we do not take babies or young children.
