Holiday farmhouse with pool in Luberon

Mas des Gaudin is an authentic 17th century farmhouse in the heart of French Luberon. The Mas has 2 gîtes, back to back with no view of any neighbours, and is situated on nearly 10 acres of fenced in woodland.

Each gîte accommodates 6 to 8 people with 3 bedrooms, spacious living room and open-plan kitchen. Outside each has a dining terrace, BBQ and a 5mx10m pool.

Although old, the gîtes have been re-furbished to a very high standard and offer real comfort for your holidays. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances which includes dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave oven.

L’Oustau is the oldest gîte.
It has a large and a small lounge with Provençal fireplace and an open-plan fully equipped kitchen which opens onto the covered terrace. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and two with two single beds, a bathroom and 2 WC’s.

La Fénière has a large lounge with an open-plan fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and a double bed, 2 shower rooms. Outside there is a large terrace set under an arbour. Adjoining the terrace is a studio which houses the third bedroom and has a king size bed.

The property is set in nearly 10 acres of fenced-in wooded and heath land and offers a children’s play area and boules.

Both gîtes have a terrace ideal for dining, together with a barbecue. Each also has a swimming pool – both have safety fences and are non-chlorinated.

Apt, the hometown of the Mas des Gaudin, is ancient Apta Julia of Roman times. Quite near you'll find the roman "Pont Julien", shown below. Every square metre of this area respires antiquity. Relics of the middle ages are everywhere visible.


    If you prefer nature, Luberon, Mont Ventoux and Montagne the Lure have everything you need. If you like amusement, the nearby towns provide. You can have balloon-trips, horse-riding, golf, polo, sailing, fishing, hiking, bicycling, mountain-climbing and more!

Lovers of festivals are especially favoured: Avignon (in and off, theatre), Aix-en-Provence and Orange (opera), La Roque d'Anthéron (piano), Simiane-la-Rotonde (baroque) etc.

The properties are electrically heated. Hiring of bed linen and house linen available.

The Mas can be rented the whole year.

The cost to book a gite for up to 8 people is shown right. The price shown is the total rental for the week, NOT per person.
