Simon and Laura welcomes you to Cal Barbe, an 18th century cottage in Targasonne (South of France - Pyrenees) restored in stone, wood and slate following the regional style, offering two types of high quality accommodations: B&B and a self-catering accommodation

Our Bed & Breakfast clients can choose between three comfortable en-suite bedrooms, enjoy the open fire in our living room, make new friends and share experiences around the dining table or relax in our large garden.

Our self catering accommodation guests will enjoy a typical Cerdagne cottage, where the farmer would have lived centuries ago, with wooden floors and beamed ceilings. Here also you will be able to enjoy winter evenings around an open fire place and summers in the garden.

B&B Accommodation
Our three bed & breakfast rooms are located on the first floor of the main house, each with en-suite toilet and shower, and with a total capacity of 8 or 9 people.

All rooms have views towards the Pyrenees and are named after local mountains.
Carlit - 1 double bed and 1 single one with the option to add an extra one
Peric - 2 single beds with the option to add an extra one
Puigmal - 1 double bed and private terrace

On the ground floor we offer you a comfortable living room with open fireplace, books, games, maps and information on local activities. Immediately next to the living room is a dining room to enjoy breakfast and (optional) dinner together.

Self Catering accommodation
Our self catering gîte offers comfortable accommodation for 6 people with an entrance hall with toilet and separate shower room on the ground floor, one double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining/living room with fire place on the first floor and two twin bedroom rooms on the second floor.

We do ask that guests do not smoke in the bedrooms.

Cal Barbe is situated in the Cerdagne valley, the sunniest region in France, surrounded by mountains close to 3,000 metres high and near multitude of lakes and forests.

The popular ski resorts of Font-Romeu and Les Angles and the border with Spain. It’s just 45min to Andorra - Pas de la Casa shown left is right on the border. Visitors can enjoy not only multitude of outdoors activities but also a rich mix of history, culture, traditions and cuisine.

Multitude of hiking and mountain bike trails and fishing lakes.

Natural hot water pools. Bouldering in 2nd best area in France.

Helpful Information
Breakfast includes tea or coffee or chocolate, breads, croissants, marmalades and jams... and we will make every effort possible for any specific needs. Please contact us if you come with children less than 2 years old.	We are sorry but in the interests of all of guests we do not accept pets. Smoking : We do ask that guests do not smoke in the bedrooms. We'd also ask not to smoke in the dining table for the B&B accommodation. All rooms have en-suite toilet and shower.

Prices
Local tax ("taxe de séjour") is not included in the prices below but is charged at 0.45 € per person above 13 years / per night in high season. Price includes electricity, water and bedding.	Booking 'weeks' are Saturday 16.00 to Saturday 12.00. We ask that guests leave the accommodation before 10.00 is cleaning service is requested. Once your dates are reserved you need to confirm the booking by sending written confirmation together with 30% deposit. The remainder is due at arrival.
