3-star room accommodation in the Cotes d'Armor
'Les Lauriers' is a Chambres d'Hotes in the village of Keraudy. which is in between the larger villages of Plouaret and Ploumilliau, in the Cotes d'Armor department of Brittany.

It is a ten to fifteen minute drive from Lannion town centre, and just ten minutes from the dramatic coastline and superb 5km long sandy beach at St. Michel en Greve.

'Les Lauriers' has recently been inspected by Tregor Goelo Pays Touristique, the regional tourist authority for this area, who have awarded us a three star rating for the level and quality of accommodation provided. Our generously sized bedrooms have been individually refurbished to a high standard incorporating traditional beamed ceilings. Each room has a double and a single bed, and its own fully private ensuite with shower etc.

Complimentary tea / coffee making facilities are provided in each room.

 

 
   

'There is ample parking space available, and guests are welcome to relax in our acre of secluded garden, with its mature trees and shrubs.

 

 


 

 


Within a forty minute drive from 'Les Lauriers', there are three golf courses - two eighteen hole and one nine hole - the nearest being just fifteen minutes away. These courses offer plenty of choice for a long weekend break, including the dramatic course at nearby Pleumeur - Bodou with its location in 140 acres of moors and pine forests facing the sea.

Guests planning a four day golf break to try out the local courses will benefit from our reduction of 10% off our room rates, for stays of three nights or more.


With the quick and easy drive here from the arrival of the morning ferry, you will have had chance to drop your luggage off and grab a quick shower and still be on the course just a couple of hours after you arrive at Roscoff.

For a longer visit, slightly further afield but still within an hour or so's drive there are a further six courses within the Cotes d'Armor department, each with its own varied terrain and many of them being sited along the coastline in elevated locations, offering dramatic backdrops as you progress around the course.
 
   

The village of Keraudy is well placed to explore the many different aspects of the Cotes d'Armor, and in particular 'La Cote de Granite Rose' - the Pink Granite Coast. With its broad sandy beaches, dramatic rocky outcrops and superb scenery, the coastline is a fascinating area to explore.

There are also various opportunities locally for the watersports enthusiast to indulge in such activities as sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, sand yachting, swimming etc - please ask for further details that we can source locally for you.
   

Many of the towns in the area have outdoor markets on a regular basis - two of the largest being in Lannion on Thursday mornings and Morlaix (photo below right) on Saturday mornings.

Either of these are an ideal way of sampling the local produce - such as the different breads, cheeses, meats, fish etc - or maybe for just taking in the atmosphere whilst having a coffee and croissant at one of the pavement cafes.

For shopping, Lannion presents a wide and interesting range of individual stores, mostly centred within an easy walk of the pedestrianised town centre, with its historical timber framed buildings.

There are also numerous wooded walks to enjoy throughout the local countryside and along the river estuary, in addition to the chateaux and historical buildings typical of the region.
   

Or why not try exploring some caves, or sample a few locally made traditional Breton biscuits, or try a glass or two of cider at one of the local distilleries.

There are regular outdoor musical concerts in Lannion from mid July to the end of August, and also numerous local cultural events such as art & photographic exhibitions, theatrical and dance conventions, antiques markets, guided walks etc happening throughout the year.

The property is within easy driving distance from the ferries at either Roscoff or St. Malo.
