in tranquil 17th century village near the spa at Lamalou-les-Bains
(3km).
From the house directly there are walks into the mountains, with magnificent
views, and nearby is the River Orb, along which are some of the prettiest
villages in France.
The house can accommodate 2 + 2 people: there is a double bed in the
bedroom, and a Futon extending sofa in the living-room. |

The house was built in 1660 and has been tastefully
modernised. Upstairs there is a bedroom with en suite shower room,
and adjacent toilet and washing-machine facilties.
Living room: Bright, light room
with views of the mountains and the village. From the living-room
there are stairs down to the kitchen.

Kitchen : fully equipped with
gas cooker and all utensils. Light and airy, with direct access
to terrace which gets the sun all day.
The kitchen leads out onto the terrace, also facing south with magnificent
views. As well as the terrace there is a small garden.
Bedroom: peaceful and quiet, with double bed and
en suite shower room. The bedroom leads by a door into the living
room, which faces south and has magnificent views of the surrounding
countryside and the village.

The house has views of the mountains in a tranquil 17th century

Lamalou-les-Bains is just down the road (2 miles or 3km).
It has all the necessary shops and banks, as well as restaurants
and sporting facilities (swimming pool, tennis courts and
a nearby golf course). The town thrives on the thermal baths,
to which many people come for cures and treatments.
You can make this a really relaxing holiday, either taking
it easy soaking up the south of France sunshine, or simply
sitting at a table of a pavement café talking and watching
the world go by.

Beziers is half an hour away by car, Montpellier
(photo right) one hour. Both these towns are fascinating
both architecturally and culturally.
