Restored stone holiday cottage in picture postcard village | ||||
| It is an old stone cottage of character
and charm which is situated in the tranquil and picture postcard village
of Montesquieu des Alberes in the department of Pyrenees Orientales.
It has been sensitively restored with exposed beams and is located
in a peaceful area near the ruins and the botanic route.
The village of Montesquieu is situated at an altitude of 250 meters
above sea level on the lower slopes of the Alberes with a 12th century
church and a ruined chateau. From here you can enjoy both stunning
mountain views as well as the Mediterranean Sea. |

Ground floor : The front door leads into the main living area with a sofa/sofabed, TV, coffee table, dining table and chairs. From here steps take you to another level with double patio door leading to the impasse and garden. This area also houses the washing machine and fridge; also on this level is a good sized corner kitchen equipped with a cooker (oven /grill), dishwasher, toaster and a kettle as well as adequate supplies of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. |
