All you need to do is send up to 6 photos,
plus the text that best describes your property, and we will create
and place your advert on this site. There are no charges.
We do not wish to be involved with any booking arrangements –
we prefer people to write direct to you, the owner.
Look at the properties that already on the site so you get
an idea of how your property will be shown.
Photographs
Up to 10 photos:
Send up to 10 photos. Look at any of the properties that
are already on the site and see what type of photos you
need to send – exterior and interior shots. Visitors
like to see photos of the lounge, dining areas, bedrooms
and bathrooms. Outside, photos of terraces, balconies,
gardens, BBQ area, pools etc.
IMPORTANT
Photos should be the original digital
photos BEFORE compressing them. They
should be a large as possible – certainly more than
150 Kbytes if you want to show off your property at its
best.
Most cameras can now take photos of over 1 Mbytes. At
this size you are sure of good quality images. Sometimes
we receive really small compressed photos of less than
50 Kbytes and these do not do justice to the holiday property.
PLEASE!
Do NOT send photos that are less than 150 kbytes in
size or photos that have already been compressed for
other websites. If you do, your advert will not
be accepted.
Descriptive
Text
Send the text (Word document) that best describes your
property. Probably between 400 to 600 words, using the
headings you see on the details page –
General Description
of Property: with good details of accommodation
available; lounge, dining area, kitchen (including equipment)
bedrooms, bathroom, shower room WCs.
Bullet Points: Remember,
visitors to websites do not spend so much time reading
the text. Photos are more important and convey the
appeal of the property much better than words. So,
for easy reading, write the property description
as short, snappy bullet points – like you
see here. This also helps us to get your advert
ready more quickly!
Around and About:
things to do in the immediate are (perhaps within 10 kms),
shops, places to visit, amenities available. This text can be much longer and
more literate - not bullet points.
Further Afield:
places to go and things to do when making a
car journey. This text can be much
longer and more literate - not bullet points.
Booking Arrangements:
any useful information you want to give visitors
– Arrival / Departure times, what is provided (linen,
baby cots, electricity / gas) cleaning arrangements, suitable
or not for pets, smoking rules…
Prices: What
is or is not included in the price, requirements for Deposit
and payment, Breakage deposit, a table of Season and Price
list.
Other Photographs
If you have any good digital
photos you wish to use of the region or places to visit
near your property then send those too and we will try to
fit them in.
